Hi, everyone!

Just thought I would leave a quick note.

Today, my father gave me my very own computer, and unlike my school-loaned laptop, which my parental units decided should be strictly for academic-related activities (homework, homework, homework... Oooh and emailing TEACHERS!) this particular computer, well, I can use it whenever I damn well please. I can use this to blog over the summer!

That is today's good news.

ps. Thank you so much for your NYC recommendations. I'm actually going to brooklyn tomorrow so I'll definetly be peeking around for some nice shops.
pps. Your comment made it sound like you were a pro seattle vintage shopper. Any recommendations? I've always found it to be rather pathetic in terms of vintage. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong places?

  3. I wish I could remember the names of the places in Brooklyn, they are really obscure...

I guess when it comes to vintage, maybe Seattle isn't the greatest place in the world to shop, but Pretty Parlor has some very old beautiful slips and jewelry (although the slips are a bit pricey, I must say) And I do like Lucky Vintage on the Ave, even though half the time you go in, you don't find too much. It is a wild card, pour moi. Every time I visit it is a very different shopping experience. When I go to Red Light on Broadway and I look through everything downstairs and I'll find something really amazing that the $20 I brought doesn't cover. It's a great place, to me at least, but I am most of the time way too cheap to actually be able to buy anything.

And you may or may not find price-range items in Fremont but you should give it a shot, because Fremont is in general a fun place to go window shopping. If all else fails, get some mint Gelato, go to Deluxe Junk, and try on old funky hats, and look through that old suitcase of 50 cent photos.

Did I help at all? :)
